Davor Radolfi

Davor Radolfi is a Croatian singer, composer and bandleader, born in Zagreb on 1 May 1956, and that is why he is on this site. He is known as one of the main champions of Latin pop in Croatia. He trained in interior design and has said he never planned a career in music, although music surrounded him from childhood.

The Latin side came from his family. Part of it lives in Argentina, and records sent from there, he told Slovenian Svet24 in 2025, turned a young rock fan towards Latin rhythms. In Yugoslavia he and his friends recorded the Spanish-language songs they loved, and in 1988 he founded his band, Ritmo Loco. His first albums were Canto Latino and Baila como...Yo (both 1992). Tereza Kesovija invited him to sing in Maribor, his first concert in Slovenia, and the two recorded "Baila Me" together.

In the 1990s Radolfi released the albums Za ljubav jedne žene (1994), Ljubav svih mojih ljubavi (1996), Kruh i vino (1997) and Neka živim kako živim (1999), plus the live album Best of live u Lisinskom. His best-known songs include "Bomba", "S ribama je najbolje", "Kad uistinu voliš ženu", "Na bačvama vina" and "Vino me je opilo". At Dora 1995 he finished fifth with "Tvoje ime kao ime ruže", and at Dora 2002 he sang "Odlazim".

He has recorded duets with Oliver Dragojević ("Ljubav je tvoja kao vino", 2001), Bruno Krajcar, Vanna and Klapa Maslina. In 2023 he released Novi čovjek sam sutra, by his count his eighteenth album. Its title song is a duet with his daughter Lea of the group Judette, and the album also has a duet with Saša Antić and a live "Luda đelozija" with Zorica Kondža.

In September 2025 he marked forty years in music with a concert with Ritmo Loco at Križanke in Ljubljana.
