Connect

Connect is a Croatian rap group, today making trap. Dragi and Shalla started it in 2000, and Shalla has since become one of the leading rap producers of the younger generation; in 2002 Burazsel and Jura Blaze joined them.

The public first heard them in 2002 in the demo-band section of the HTV show Briljanteen, where "Brige ugasim pjesmom" stayed at number one for the whole year. Working with Miro Vidović of Morris studio, they recorded their debut for Menart, and 2005 became their breakthrough year. After "Brige ugasim pjesmom", "Koga ona voli", "Na, na, na" and "Super par", the album was announced by "Vuglji, vuglji" with Davor Gobac of Psihomodo Pop. The debut, Prvo pa muško, went through three pressings, and its biggest hit "Jeebena" won the Zlatna Koogla award for song of the year.

The reissue Ovo nije drugi album added fifteen new songs, among them "Boja mojih vena" with Zaprešić Boys, a favourite with Dinamo fans. With Vlatka Pokos they recorded the summer R&B hit "Bili smo skupa", and for Euro 2008 they made the unofficial football anthem "Samo je jedno", pressed in 400,000 copies together with Konzum. Their second album, U drugom stanju, came out on Morris/Menart in December 2008, after a live album from Boogaloo.

The third album, 3jumf, followed in 2011 with "Dalmatinka", sung with Jelena Rozga, and the group kept a steady flow of videos: "Ljubi me budalo" (2013), "Noć bez granica" with Lana Jurčević, "Otrov" with Mario Huljev, and from 2016 a run of songs with producer Coby, starting with "Džek i Džoni". Later came "Pijana", "Mamuran", "Geto djevojka" and "Dođi na Jadran", a live album from Belgrade Music Week 2023 and the album IV in 2025.

The playlist here is their debut album, Prvo pa muško, with "Nebo", "Jeebena" and "Vuglji, vuglji".
