About Cisilia

Cisilia, born Cisilia Ismailova on 19 December 1998, is a Danish pop singer from Copenhagen. She is on Muzika-Balkan because of her roots: English Wikipedia says she is of mixed Macedonian and Moroccan origin, and Danish Wikipedia that she has roots in Macedonia and Morocco. She grew up on Amager in Copenhagen and sings in Danish. The sources do not say where she lives today.

She broke through in 2014 with the singles "Ring den alarm" and "Vi to datid nu". Both are on her debut album Unge øjne (2015), which went to number one on Hitlisten, the official Danish albums chart, while "Vi to datid nu" went double platinum. It was also the ninth most played song on the Danish radio stations P3 and P4 in 2015 and the fourth most played Danish song on Danish radio that year.

At the Danish Music Awards 2015 she won Danish Hit of the Year for "Vi to datid nu" and New Danish Name of the Year, and at sixteen she became the youngest winner in the awards' history. She was signed to Nexus Music, with distribution by Universal Music Denmark.

Further singles followed: "Luftballon", "Samurai" (2016), "Wild Child" with Kongsted (2016), "Kold December" with Hasan Shah, "SNAP!" (2017), "Mañana" and "Kære Danmark" (2019), "En million grunde" (2020) and "Stærkere end du tror" (2023). Her album Ghetto Junglen, with "Nefertiti" and "Paraply", appeared on YouTube in October 2025.

The playlist is the music video collection from her own channel, from "Vi to datid nu" and "Ring den alarm" to her newest songs.
