Andrijana Božović

Andrijana Božović is a Montenegrin pop singer, born on 17 March 1977 in Podgorica. Through the 2000s she was a familiar voice at the summer festivals on the Montenegrin coast, and some of her records carry only her first name, Andrijana.

Her earliest festival song on record is "I ljubav ima kraj", written by Milutin Popović Zahar, which she sang at the ninth Mediterranean Music Festival in Budva in 2001. In 2003 she sang "Moja ljubav je samo za tebe" by Mirsad Serhatlić and Milan Perić at Sunčane skale in Herceg Novi. Her songs kept appearing on the records of both festivals: "U srcu osvete" at Budva in 2004, "Grijeh" in 2005, "Tamna stijena" on the Sunčane skale album of 2006 and "Sve moje tajne" at Budva in 2009. She also sang backing vocals on Mili Knežević's 2002 album Nađi vremena.

Twice she tried for the Eurovision Song Contest. At Evropesma 2004, the national final of Serbia and Montenegro, she sang "Ni jedna suza" together with Marija Božović and finished seventh of 24. A year later "Sve ti boje dobro stoje", written by Rastko Aksentijević, came third at Montevizija, the Montenegrin semi-final, and sixth in the Evropesma final.

Her album Na krilima anđela came out on City Records in 2004. Its twelve songs include "Krila anđela", "Moja željo najveća", "U srcu osvete", "Kad nisi tu" and her Evropesma song, written by Rastko Aksentijević, Milutin Popović Zahar, Zoran and Nena Leković and others, with Aleksandra Radović among the backing singers.

In 2011 she hosted the talk show AB Priče on Atlas televizija, with guests such as Arsen Dedić, Emir Kusturica and Sergej Ćetković. On her own YouTube channel she has also sung songs by Oliver Dragojević, Makadam, Novi fosili and Olivera Katarina. The playlist here is her album Na krilima anđela.
