About Selma Muhedinović
Selma Muhedinović is a pop singer from Sarajevo, born there on 6 June 1972. Her music sits between pop and pop-folk, and in the late 1990s and early 2000s she was one of the better-known voices in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
She released her first album, Selma, in November 1999. It was followed by Uzmi ili ostavi (2000), Za cijeli svijet (2001) and Tebi suđena, which came out on the music production of the Bosnian public broadcaster. Moje Sarajevo (2005) took its name from a song she also issued as a single, and Novi dan (2006) appeared on Hayat Production. Her other labels included Halix Records.
She was not only an interpreter: twelve of the songs on her albums are her own, and she also worked with some of the best-known Bosnian writers, among them Amir Bjelanović Tula, Dino Šaran, the brothers Edo and Adi Mulahalilović, Milić Vukašinović and Fazla. She is also a trained violinist, with a degree in string instruments from the music academies in Sarajevo (2005) and Zagreb (2007).
Selma Muhedinović stopped performing in 2006 and lives in Sarajevo. Her songs, including "Tebi suđena", are gathered here in one playlist.
