About Petar Dragojević
Petar Dragojević is a pop singer from Split, which is why he is on this site. He is the nephew of Oliver Dragojević, his father's brother, whom he calls "barba", the Dalmatian word for uncle. He has stayed in his home town: during the pandemic he told IN magazin that over the past year he had spent much of his time on Marjan, the wooded hill above Split.
In 2002 he sang at Dora, Croatia's selection for Eurovision, with "Laži", a song by Tonči Huljić, Vjekoslava Huljić and Remi Kazinoti, and finished 18th. In 2010 Dnevnik.hr described him as a 31-year-old singer from Split with fifteen years of music behind him, finishing only his second studio album. He said he had waited for the right moment and the right songs, something close to his own character, and his uncle helped him choose them.
In 2021 he was preparing a new, faster song, again about unhappy love, though he said he had been happily in love for fifteen years himself. He also told IN magazin that he loves cooking and dreams of opening a restaurant one day.
The playlist gathers the videos from his own channel, from "To nisam ja" and "Kao da te oduvijek znam" to "Nisam svoj", "Suza" and live songs.
