About Nina Bulatovix

Nina Bulatovix is a three-piece rock and post-punk band from Maribor, Slovenia, active since 2009, and it is on Muzika-Balkan under Slovenia because it was formed in Maribor and works on the Slovenian scene. The band sings in Slovenian. It grew out of the circle around Pekarna, the home of alternative and youth culture in Maribor.

The line-up is singer Gregor Kosi, bassist Marko Širec and drummer Jure Lavrin. The band uses no electric guitar at all: the bass takes its place, sometimes run through distortion.

Their self-released debut album, Nina Bulatovix, was recorded live at the Štuk club in Maribor during the Scena festival and came out on 17 December 2011. Three years later, on 4 December 2014, came the second album, Jate, recorded in an improvised studio in the Gustaf hall at Pekarna and released by Kapa Records. In April 2016 the band opened for the American post-punk group Protomartyr.

The third album, Zob za zob, followed on Kapa Records in 2021, after the songs "Prekerni", "Morgenrot" and "In ko me sprašuješ". The playlist gathers the band's own videos, from the songs of Jate to the newest ones.
