About Neverne bebe
Neverne bebe are a Serbian rock band formed in Valjevo in 1993 and based in Belgrade. They began with jazz-tinged arena rock, moved to more artistic rock and in the mid-2000s turned to a more commercial pop rock sound, becoming one of the most popular bands of the Serbian rock scene of the 2000s and 2010s.
The band was founded by keyboardist Milan Đurđević, formerly of Nova Zemlja, Smak and Frenki, with singer Puniša Zeljković "Billy King". Their first concert was in Belgrade on 4 April 1993. The progressive debut Neverne bebe I (1994) had the hits "Veliki je Bog" and "1000 godina" and a cover of Smak's "Daire" with Smak guitarist Radomir Mihajlović Točak. Singer Gorica Ponjavić joined in 1994, and Neverne bebe II (1997) brought "Godine srama", "Divlje svinje", "Stranac" and the cult ballad "Dvoje".
Neverne bebe III – Južno od sreće (2001), with "Ljubav", "Balkan" and "Gotovo", won best rock album at the Herceg Novi festival. In 2003 singers Jelena Pudar and Jana Šušteršič joined, and the best-of Dvoje (2004) marked the turn to pop rock; "Dvoje" was named song of the decade at the Radijski festival. The band opened for Toto at Tašmajdan in 2006 and for Lenny Kravitz in 2008. ...Iza oblaka (2007) included "Boje duge" with Aki Rahimovski of Parni valjak, and "Da ima nas" won single of the year at Beovizija.
Tijana Sretković replaced Šušteršič in 2011. Praštam (2012) featured Vanna and Vlatko Stefanovski, and they recorded "Ovo je kraj" with Crvena jabuka. Priča o nama (2017) included a duet with Daniel Kajmakoski. "Suze sa zvezda padaju" (2018) set the last lyrics of Nenad Radulović of Poslednja igra leptira to music, and in 2020 came "Zajedno" with Neno Belan and "Vodi me odavde". The playlist gathers the band's music videos.
