Moya

Moya is the stage name of Mojca Štoka, a Slovenian singer-songwriter who sings pop and country-tinged pop in Slovenian. She is on Muzika-Balkan under Slovenia because she is a Slovenian artist who records and releases her music there: her 2019 CD Zvezdni utrinki was self-published by M. Štoka in Vrtojba, near Nova Gorica, and is kept in the Slovenian national library.

The album was made with Jan Baruca and Boštjan Pertinač. On YouTube she has released a steady run of official videos since 2021, starting with "Veter"; "Luna" followed in 2022. In 2021 she also recorded "Lastovka", a song of Elda Viler, with the Slovenian Police Orchestra.

In 2023 came "Bleda senca", "1000 resnic" and "Luč na koncu", a duet with Tinkara Kovač, and she sang "Prsti zapleteni" with the Croatian Klapa Rišpet. "Gola" followed in 2024, and in 2026 "Domov", "Mamina pesem" in a mother-and-daughter version with her daughter Julija, and "Whiskey je kriv". The playlist gathers her music videos and live clips from her own channel.
