About Kraljevski apartman
Kraljevski apartman is a Serbian heavy metal band from Belgrade and, from the late 1990s, one of the most popular bands of the Serbian metal scene. Its story goes back to 1979, when guitarist Zoran Zdravković formed the hard rock band Apartman 69, which released one album, Seti se moje pesme, in 1983. Thirteen years later, with the support of Riblja Čorba frontman Bora Đorđević, Zdravković started again and in 1995 formed Kraljevski Apartman with singer Zoran "Lotke" Lalović.
The first album, Long Live Rock 'n' Roll, came out on Rock Express Records, with "Mračan grad", "Ne verujem u lažne anđele", "Misterija" and "Oprosti mi", and the band toured as support to Riblja Čorba. The heavier Izgubljen u vremenu (2000) brought "Slomljeno srce", "Nikad se ne predajem" and "Posle oluje (Javi se)". Rocker (2002), with keyboards and a more melodic sound, had the hits "Ranjena zver" and "Rocker" and made the band known in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.
Ruka pravde (2004, PGP-RTS) is considered by fans and critics one of their finest records, with "Ruka pravde", "Dao sam sve od sebe" and "Sve su noći iste". That year they opened for Deep Purple in Belgrade, and in 2005 they marked ten years with a live DVD from the SKC and opened for Whitesnake. Čuvar tajni (2008) was made with singer Ivan Đerković before Lalović returned, and Igre bez pravila followed in 2012.
Lalović died on 3 May 2015. In December that year the band carried on with the single "Lud sam za tobom" and a new line-up around Zdravković, with singer Jovan Baranin. Their songs and videos are gathered here in one playlist.
