About Klapa Mriža
Klapa Mriža is a male klapa from Split, founded in 2008 by a group of friends united by their love of the klapa chord, the close a cappella harmony of Dalmatian song. It has had its successes at the Festival of Dalmatian Klapa in Omiš, the most important stage of klapa singing, and sang in the festival's final in 2012 with "Ponedijkon večerala".
The klapa has performed across Europe and the world, as far as the Far East. On 21 September 2025 it represented Croatia and klapa singing at Croatia's National Day at Expo 2025 in Osaka. Besides traditional Dalmatian songs, Klapa Mriža has also recorded an album of sacred and world choral music, from Mendelssohn's "Beati mortui" and Ivan Zajc's "Ave Maria" to "Signore delle cime" and "Down to the River to Pray".
The playlist gathers the klapa's own videos, with songs such as "Bodulska balada", "Cvit od mrče", "Sa izvora ladna voda" and "Ako spavaš vilo moja".
