Klapa Kumpanji

Klapa Kumpanji is a Dalmatian klapa, a group of singers in the a cappella tradition of the Croatian coast, from the town of Blato on the island of Korčula.

The klapa's first album, Klapa Kumpanji, came out in 1998 on the Orfej label, and it was followed by the live album Uživo in 2007 and Pjevajte s nama in 2008. Its songs also appear on several compilations of Croatian klapa music, among them Orfejeve klape (2002). Their repertoire mixes traditional Dalmatian songs with newer klapa songs, from "Vila moja projde", "Probudi me jutrom" and "Svoju zvizdu slidin" to "Piva klapa ispo' volta".

Kumpanji have also sung with soloists: their recordings include "Vela Luka" and "Konoba moja" with Jasna Zlokić, "Vila moja projde" with Sandro Bačić, and "Zaspalo je siroče" with the vocal group Kvartet Gorgonzola.
