John F. Doe

John F. Doe is an indie and garage rock band from Bled, Slovenia, active since 2010, first under the name John Doe. The band is from Bled, which is why it is on Muzika-Balkan under Slovenia. It sang its first album in English and later turned to Slovenian.

The line-up is Marko Zemljič on lead vocals, Aleš Svetina on guitar, Luka Zemljič on keyboards, Tilen Knaflič on bass and Bojan Marinko on drums. Three songs from the debut album got videos before the album itself came out: "December Lights" (2012), "From Russia to China" (2013) and "Rider" (2015). "Black Glitter" took part in Val 202's competition Val 014 - Imamo dobro glasbo and was included on its compilation.

The debut album, JFD, was released by the band itself in 2015. In 2018 it announced a second album, in Slovenian this time, with the lyric video "Povej naglas" and the digital EP John EP Doe, which held the first four songs of the new record. "Criminal Mind" (2017), "Puščava" (2019) and "Skeptik" (2020) also got videos.

The playlist is the band's own channel, with the whole of JFD, "Puščava", "Hyde" and a live video of "Poletni trip".
