Koala Voice

Koala Voice is a Slovenian indie rock band formed in 2010. The four members are singer Manca Trampuš, guitarist Domen Don Holc and the brothers Tilen and Miha Prašnikar on bass and drums. Their music mixes indie rock with punk pop and disco, sung mostly in English, later also in Slovene.

In 2014 the band won the first season of the Špil liga competition. Their debut album, Kangaroo's a Neighbour, was presented on 6 February 2015 at Kino Šiška in Ljubljana during the Ment festival, and was followed by concerts at festivals in Slovenia and in Austria, Germany, Russia, Serbia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

In 2016 they played new songs such as "Vede premikanja", their first song in Slovene, released a video for "Frida Nipl", recorded at Studio Metro with producer Jure Vlahovič, and appeared at the Exit festival in July. They then recorded with the producer Danton Supple, who had worked on Coldplay's X&Y. The video for "Vede premikanja", directed by Matevž Jerman, who had already made "Strangers' Tides" with them, came out in June 2017 together with the title of the second album, Wolkenfabrik (German for "cloud factory").

Woo Horsie followed in 2018, the same year as the live album Izštekani, then Plata in 2021 and the fifth studio album, Auf Wiedersehen, in 2024, presented on a tour of Slovenia and abroad. Over the years Koala Voice have played Liverpool Sound City, Tallinn Music Week, Pohoda, Monkey Week, Exit and InMusic, and opened for the Pixies at Križanke in Ljubljana. Their newer videos include "The Bigger The City", "Late For The Party", "Tebe Imam Rajši Od Drugih" and "Admiral".
