About Ivana Marić

Ivana Marić is a Croatian pop singer, born on 12 November 1982 in Čapljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She was one of the three founders of the girl group Feminnem and has sung solo since 2008; her best-known songs include "Tebe voljeti" and "Ne prilazi".

She sang from early childhood at children's festivals and with a folklore group. In 1999 she made her debut at the Melodije Mostara festival with "Daj da vratim se" and won the prize for the best newcomer, and she returned to the festival a few more times. She then moved to Zagreb to study and auditioned for the television show Hrvatski Idol, where she reached the final ten.

In 2004, with Pamela Ramljak and Neda Parmać, fellow finalists from the show, she founded Feminnem, and their first single was "Volim te, mrzim te". In 2005 the three represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv with "Call Me", written by Andrej Babić, and finished 14th in the final. Their first album, Feminnem Show, came out in December 2005, and they sang "Reci nešto, al' ne šuti više" at the Croatian Radio Festival in 2006 and "Navika" at Dora in 2007. At the end of 2007 Ivana decided to leave the group and start a solo career.

In 2008 she took part in the reality show Farma and released her first solo single, "Tebe voljeti". "Ne prilazi" followed in 2009, and she sang it at the 14th Croatian Radio Festival; then came "Trn i cvijet", "Izdajica" and other singles. In early 2013 Croatia Records released her first solo album, Hodaj. She also played Kika in the television series Zauvijek susjedi in 2007.
