Iva Herceg

Iva Herceg is a Croatian pop singer. Before she began singing she danced for ten years, and in 2011, when she was 25, she was finishing a degree in journalism; until then dance and her studies had come first. She is the sister of the actor Ivan Herceg, known from the soap opera Larin izbor, who advised her to take her career slowly, and she has a younger brother, Josip.

Her debut single, "Neodoljiv", came out in June 2010. It was produced by Sun Kim from New York, with lyrics by Sandra Berković and Mirza Tetarić, and recorded at the studio of Darko Juranović D'Knock, the producer who encouraged her to take singing seriously. The video was directed by Robert Balaško. At the time she was planning two more singles and videos by the end of the year, with producers from New York and Dallas as well as D'Knock.

By October 2011 Iva Herceg had released three singles, "Neodoljiv", "Ako nisi taj" and "Mirage". She said then that she saw no point in an album with only a few good songs and planned to put her singles on a first album in two or three years, once she had enough. She also said she wanted to establish herself in Croatia before thinking about an international career.
