About Isaac Palma

Isaac Palma, full name Isaac Leandro Palma, is an Argentine-born pop singer who has built his career in Slovenia. He was born on 11 June 1991 in Argentina and sings mostly in Slovenian, with Spanish finding its way into some of his songs and performances.

Slovenian audiences first met him in 2016 on the television talent show Slovenija ima talent. He had been living in Slovenia for only about eight months when he auditioned, and he spoke to the judges in Slovenian. In the semi-final he sang "Regresa a mi" in Spanish, and in the final he finished second.

A year later he won the grand prize of the 37th Melodije morja in sonca, held on 8 July 2017 in the amphitheatre of Avditorij Portorož, with "Če te kdaj spustim iz rok". In 2018 he was part of S.I.T., a group that gathered some of the best-known contestants from Slovenija ima talent. Together they recorded "Vroče", which BQL, Nika Zorjan and Palma released a year later in a Croatian version, "Vruće".

His singles since then include "Dve besedi", "Obljubi", "Na zdravje!", "Sreča moja si", "Zdaj je čas" with Il Divji, "Dva tedna", "Ni kot Argentina" and "Mala mala". In June 2026 he and the singer Martina Švab released "Najin dan", a wedding ballad written by Rok Piletič and produced by Roman Sarjaš; both singers drew on memories of their own wedding day, and the video was filmed in Grožnjan.

Isaac Palma lives in Slovenia with his wife and their two children, and has said that starting a family there ended his homesickness for Argentina. In 2024 he was recording new songs in a studio in Prekmurje.
