Gazde

Gazde are a tamburica band from Zagreb, founded by Marko Bujanović, Silvio Šimunković, Vladimir Kota, Mario Kršić, Damir Popović and Robert Šerić. Their first notable appearance was at the Zlatne žice Slavonije festival in Požega, and they mix the tamburica tradition with pop melodies and ballads.

Their debut album, Zbog tebe sam to što jesam, came out on Croatia Records in 1994 and won the 1995 Porin for the best album of composed folk music. More Croatia Records albums followed: Za ljubav tvoju (1995), Bit će bolje (1997), Na dnu duše moje (1999) and Nije meni žao (2001), then Zbogom za zbogom (2003), Milijun poljubaca (2010) and Ispod ovih oblaka (2023). With the singer Tanja Mršić they also recorded 'Ej tamburo and Pošli momci na salaš, and in 2016 they released a Christmas album, Sretan Božić.

Gazde are at home on the big stage: their concert at Zagreb's Dom sportova came out as a live album in 1995, they marked twenty years with another Dom sportova concert in 2012, and thirty years with a third in 2023, released as Gazde 30 godina. Their songs are written mostly within the band, by Damir Popović and Marko Bujanović with Predrag Martinjak. The playlist gathers their official videos, from "Dekolte", "Anamarija" and "Vrati mi želju za životom" to "Dat' će Bog i bolje dane" with Vedrana Vukojević and the 2026 single "Danas jesi, sutra nisi".
