Futurski

Futurski are a four-piece Slovenian synth-pop band from Ljubljana, founded in 2015. They were formed in Ljubljana and are based there, which is why they are on Muzika-Balkan under Slovenia. They sing in English, and the band's name is often written in capitals, FUTURSKI.

Singer and drummer Jan Vihar and guitarist, singer and keyboard player Žiga Petkovšek both came from the band Barely Modern. With them are the keyboard players Evita Drvarič and Dominika Maša Kozar. They have played synth-pop from the start, and the INmusic festival described them as a concert sensation in Slovenia when it booked them for its 2018 edition in Zagreb.

Their first EP, Synthetic Happiness, came out in September 2017, and Slovenian critics counted it among the best releases of the year. Its songs on their channel include "Decisions", "Pressure of Your Pressure" and "Can't Control It". In 2018 they released the video for "Ivone".

In April 2019 they put out the single "Bad Dreams" and announced a second EP, Emotional Tourist, which they released themselves in June 2019, with "Nothing Is Never an Option", "Better Self", "Weird" and "Badass". The Slovenian music centre Sigic heard it as melancholic dream pop with an edge of chillwave, turned from synthetic happiness towards emotions. A video for "Bad Dreams" followed at the end of 2020, and in 2022 the lyric video "Hoarder misli". The playlist is the band's own channel, every song and video it has released there.
