Eva Braun

Eva Braun is a Serbian rock band from Bečej, formed in 1989 by Goran Vasović and Petar Dolinka. Their music moves between alternative and indie rock, pop rock and power pop. Milan Glavaški and Ljubomir Rajić soon joined the founders.

The debut album Prisluškivanja came out in 1992, and in 1993 the band played an unplugged concert at the Yugoslav Film Archive museum, released as Unplugged 16.04.1993. Their best-known album, Pop Music (1995), gave them "Sasvim običan dan", "Zmajevi", "25. avgust" and "Bečej noću". They also appeared on compilations such as Radio Utopia (B92: 1989-1994) and Bez struje.

Heart Core followed in 1998, and in 1999 the band released the EP Nowhere Land in America under the name Viva Brown. After the compilation First & Last (2000) came Everest in 2002, then Off The Record (2008), a collection of rarities and unreleased songs from 1997 to 2006, and the studio album Playback in 2011.

Eva Braun have also recorded with guests: "Hajde, sanjaj me, sanjaj" with Vlada Divljan of Idoli and "Put za Lisabon" with Gile of Električni orgazam. Newer songs such as "Ti si sve", "Najbolje tek dolazi" and "Tajni refren" show the band is still active. Today's line-up is Goran Vasović, Zvonko Stojkov, Goran Obradović, Albert Šeregelj and Damjan Dašić. In July 2021 Vasović was made an honorary citizen of Bečej for his decades of music and humanitarian work.
