Bomb Shell

Bomb Shell is a Slovenian pop rock band fronted by the singer Petra Zore. It is on Muzika-Balkan under Slovenia because it is a band of the Slovenian scene, singing in Slovenian, and it works in Slovenia to this day: in 2025 and 2026 it was still releasing new songs there.

The band started in May 2015 as a cover band, with Petra Zore, the guitarist Anže Turk, the drummer Brane Štubljar ml. and the bassist Klemen Berglez. In 2016 it signed with Dallas Records and released its first song of its own, "Narobe svet", which it played at the 36th Melodije morja in sonca festival and made its first video for. "Tididam" followed at Poprock 2017.

In the summer of 2017 Berglez left and the keyboard player Tim Zupančič joined. Their third song, "Poletim", was chosen in the Imamo novo glasbo call of the Ministry of Culture and RTV Slovenija. In April 2018 they released "Bejbi" on Menart, which in June gave them its award for the debut pop rock group of 2017/2018. The bass passed from Maj Dolšak Fabris to Aljaž Božič, and on 5 April 2019 Menart released their first album, Ob petih.

Zupančič left in 2019, and that autumn Petra Zore took part in the fifth season of the TV show Znan obraz ima svoj glas. Because she was now so well known, the next singles, "Lublana", "Sama" and "Vsi smo ljudje", came out as Petra Zore & Bomb Shell, and from then on the band released its music itself. The guitarist Tadej Hribernik joined in 2021. The second album, Tri leta kasneje, came out in January 2023, and on 8 July that year "Potujem" won the award for best music at Melodije morja in sonca, placing second with the jury and third overall.

At the start of 2024 the band took a creative break. It came back in March 2025 with "Kaj pa, če", a more modern pop song written and sung by Petra Zore, and kept going with "Uganka", "Mavrica", "Ustavi čas" and "Raj". The playlist gathers their songs from "Narobe svet" to the newest.
