About Big Bibls Brothers Band

Big Bibls Brothers Band is a rock'n'roll and boogie band from Budanje, a village near Ajdovščina in the Vipava valley of Slovenia. It started there around 1992 and is still based in Budanje, which is why it is on Muzika-Balkan under Slovenia. The band sings in Slovenian.

It began as two pairs of brothers, the Korens and the Ferjančičs, and the guitarist Mladen Marjanovič joined later. Jure Ferjančič plays bass and sings most of the songs, David Koren plays guitar, and his brother Iztok Koren plays drums and also writes and sings some of the songs.

Their first album, Butnflaša, has ten songs, among them "Boogie ob polnoči", "Bambus bar", "Drgačn rock'n'roll", "Ne me maltretirat", "Črne gate", "Banana blues", "Baraba" and "Kje je moj prav". "Boogie ob polnoči" was their first music video, directed by Venom Jemeršič and filmed on a closed crossroads in Ajdovščina with a red double-decker bus, which drew a crowd.

The band said goodbye with a farewell party at the Budanje cooperative hall in February 2006, but came back in 2013 with a reunion concert at Ravne in Budanje on 25 May, called "Stare igre nazaj". The playlist holds the album as it appears on YouTube.
