Arta Bajrami is a Kosovan pop and R&B singer and songwriter, born on 9 January 1980 in Pristina. She is often called the "Albanian Queen of R&B", and she has been one of the familiar names of Albanian pop since the late 1990s, with audiences in Kosovo, Albania and the diaspora.
She grew up in a family where music mattered as much as daily bread. Brother and sister have worked together for many years.
Her career began in 1999, and her first album, Krejt diçka tjetër, came out in 2000. Early on she appeared on festival and compilation records, among them the 40th Festivali i Këngës in 2001, Hip-Hop Albanian Vol. 2 in 2002 and Mikrofoni i Artë in 2005. Her albums followed one another steadily: Femër shqiptare (2005), Chocolata (2007), De Luxe (2009), Exotic and Femër tipike (2012), Llake llake (2014), Victory (2015) and Dasma shqiptare (2018).
She has won prizes at several Albanian music contests. Among her best-known songs are "Nuk prish punë", "Asnjë milimetër", "Më shumë se gabim", "Mos ta nin", "Thuaj jo", "Boma qefin" and "Jamaican Lady".
In recent years she has worked mostly with her brother: "Pse mu" with Don Arbas came out in 2020 and "Halita" in 2024, and the albums Aksesor (2021), Enigmatik (2022) and 038 (2025) were released on ArbaSound, followed by the single "Dil moj cucë te dera" in 2025. She married in 2009.
