About Aleksandra Bursać
Aleksandra Bursać is a Serbian pop-folk singer, born in Belgrade on 26 October 1988. She grew up in Zemun, where she went to primary school and, alongside it, a music school where she studied violin. She loved music from an early age thanks to her mother and sang in the Kolibri choir.
Her first real start came at sixteen, when she stood in for her friend, the singer Marina Visković, at a club in Zemun and stayed there for three years. Žika Jakšić of Grand Production heard her sing on a river raft and suggested she apply for Zvezde Granda. She first tried in 2005 without reaching the top twelve. In 2008 she applied again, made the best twelve and received her first professional song, "Padale su kiše".
Her version of Merima Njegomir's "Ivanova korita" on a hits compilation brought her wider attention, and she then competed at the third Aksal festival with "Kad mi kaže", which became popular. From 2012 she released "Mala, mala", "Jabuka", "Slomljena od bola", "Dobri momci ne postoje" and "Prva liga", and in 2014 "Suze kukavice" with DJ Erke.
Later singles include "O tebi" and "Lek za bolji život" (2015), "Što te nema ljubavi" with Miloš Brkić, "Grom" (2017), "Znaš da volim te" with Vanja Lakatoš, "Čini mi se da sam se zaljubila" (2018), "Radim protiv sebe" and "Manastir" (2019), "Vene" and "Cipele" with Emir Đulović (2020), "Opa opa bato" (2023) and "Bani" (2024). Her musical role model is Ceca. Her videos are gathered here in one playlist.
