About The Dibidus
The Dibidus is a pop rock and ska band from Belgrade, formed in 2001 by Dejan Pejović "Peja", the former singer of Vampiri and Familija, together with guitarist Jova Jović of Deca Loših Muzičara and bassist Milan Sarić of Hush.
The three recorded the album The Dibidus, released in 2003 by BK Sound and produced by Đorđe Petrović. Old friends helped out: Familija drummer Ratko Ljubičić, Eyesburn frontman Nemanja Kojić on trombone, and Peja's former bandmates Goran Redžepi "Gedža" and Dejan Petrović "Dexy" on backing vocals. The album brought the minor hit "Nama treba ljubav", but in 2004 the band split up.
In 2007 The Dibidus reunited, with former Vampiri guitarist Saša Petrov and trumpeter Milan Milić joining Peja and Jović. Their second album, Trenerka i sako, came out on Long Play in 2011 and included "Pokloniću joj nebo", a song Peja had written for Vampiri's 1993 album Be-Be. Soon after, Jović left, and a new line-up with bassist Dejan Resanović, keyboard player Dejan Tomović "Tomke" and drummer Nenad Đorđević recorded the live album Uživo iz kluba "Fest" in December 2011. Released in 2013, it mixed their own songs with Familija favourites such as "Paranoja" and "Crno, belo, šareno", and added "Draga", a duet with Neno Belan.
In 2017 the band released "Ni pakao ni raj", recorded in 2013; they have been on hiatus since. The playlist here is the band's own channel, with "Ni pakao ni raj", "Draga", "Trenerka i sako", "Hleba i igara" and live clips.
