About SMS
SMS is a Bosnian pop project led by the singer, songwriter and producer Samir Mujagić. It started in 2000 with modern, urban songs, and Mujagić's own studio, Azra, has been the workshop for its records ever since.
The first album, SMS, came out in 2002. It was recorded at Azra and holds ten songs, three of which became some of the most played tracks on radio and television across the region; among them are "Idi", "Dao bih ti sve", "Do tebe mi je stalo" and "Bez riječi".
The second album, Više od igre, brought the biggest hits: "Do bola", "Dobrodošla tugo", "Kako mi nedostaješ" and "Za koga ove suze padaju", a duet with Elvira Rahić. Critics praised its sound, arrangements and design. "Do bola" and "Kako mi nedostaješ" were each named hit of the BH Radio Festival, "Dobrodošla tugo" won the BH Muzički Oskar for pop hit of the year, and the album took two more Oskars, for pop album of the year and, with "Za koga ove suze padaju", duet of the year.
The third album, Sve što imam, came out in April 2010, recorded and mixed at Azra and Long Play. Its newer songs "Ti" and "Dva svijeta" joined the old hits in the live shows. Mujagić also received a Davorin award as producer of the year, and at Azra he has worked with Dino Merlin, Hari Varešanović, Halid Bešlić and other Bosnian musicians.
