Six Pack

Six Pack are a Serbian punk rock and pop punk band from Smederevska Palanka. They were formed in early 1993 by Branko Mitrović (guitar), Milan Radojević (then vocals), Dragan Bojić "Bojke" (guitar), Saša Bogdanović "Bogda" (vocals), Miloš Novaković (drums) and Vladimir Čupić "Čupa" (bass), and named themselves after the Black Flag song "Six Pack".

Their first eight-song demo, recorded in late 1994, came out independently on the cassette Berza bez granica. In April 1995 they played in Athens and Thessaloniki, and the experience encouraged them to record their debut album, Pretnja ili molitva, produced by Bojan Antunović and released by Kontra Kultura. It included "Vodite me", a cover of a Mutha's Day Out song written by Mitrović, with Serbian lyrics.

In early 1996 Bojić left and Radojević moved to guitar. The new line-up recorded Fabrička greška, produced by Pacca The Zoom, with a cover of Culture Club's "Karma Chameleon"; the material of the first two albums was also released on CD by the Croatian label Dirty Old Town. In the summer of 1998 they played the Ex YU Rock festival in Bugojno and then toured the Netherlands with the Sarajevo band Peep.

Their third album, Minut ćutanja (2000), with the new bassist Đorđe Paligorić, held fifteen songs, among them a cover of Riblja Čorba's "Na zapadu ništa novo". That year their "Karma Chameleon" appeared on the Dutch compilation Back Up The Balkans, and they toured Bosnia and Herzegovina; in 2004 they toured Croatia and played to about five thousand people in Zagreb.

Musique (2005) was produced by Nikola Vranjković of Block Out and featured Žika Milenković of Bajaga i Instruktori on "La Musique", their version of "Francuska ljubavna revolucija". Discover (2008) collected covers of the members' favourite songs, mostly from the 1980s, and Epicentar (2011) was given away free on their website. In 2015 they celebrated twenty years with concerts in Belgrade and Novi Sad. Their songs are gathered here in one playlist.
