About Repetitor
Repetitor is a Serbian alternative rock band from Belgrade, formed in the autumn of 2005 by guitarist and singer Boris Vlastelica and drummer Milena Milutinović, who had played as a duo, joined by bassist and singer Ana-Marija Cupin. They started playing live after only a few months of rehearsals, in early 2006 at the Belgrade club Blue Moon, and soon became a live attraction across Serbia and the region.
In 2006 they played the Rock 'n' roll škola festival with Partibrejkers, Neno Belan, Obojeni program and Jarboli, and in 2007 they won the Art & Music festival in Pula with both the audience and the jury. Their first recording, "Ja", appeared on the compilation Jutro će promeniti sve?, the first release of the so-called New Serbian Scene, and topped the Radio B92 domestic chart for five weeks.
The debut album, Sve što vidim je prvi put, came out on Odličan Hrčak in October 2008, produced by Boris Mladenović, and was praised by critics. It was third on Popboks' list of the best domestic albums of 2008, "Opet jak" was third among the singles, and its stop-motion video by Miloš Tomić was voted video of the year. In 2010 the band played the main stage of Exit, and the album was later fifth on Popboks' list of the best Serbian albums of the decade.
Dobrodošli na okean followed in November 2012, announced by "U pravom trenutku", and the band toured across Europe and as far as Russia and China until 2016. Gde ćeš came out on the Slovenian label Moonlee Records in 2016, and Prazan prostor među nama koji može i da ne postoji in 2020. In 2024 Vlastelica started a solo project, Blastelica, and the band announced a break of a year and a half. The playlist gathers Repetitor's videos and live clips.
