About Nika Turković

Nika Turković is a Croatian pop singer and songwriter, born on 7 June 1995 in Zagreb. She started making music at the age of four and first became known as a child, when she represented Croatia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

At nine she won the Croatian selection, and in 2004 in Lillehammer, Norway, the youngest singer in the contest finished third with "Hej mali". She went on to appear in many television shows at home and abroad, and in 2006 released her first album, Alien, on Hit Records, with duets with Tony Cetinski and Oliver Dragojević. She later lived in London, where she took a master's degree. In 2014 she joined Dina Rizvić for some songs at the opening concert of the Labin Jazz Festival.

In 2019 she returned to music with the single "U mraku", which reached number 18 on the Croatian chart. "Gledaj me", "Boje", "Pusti", "Tvoj mir" and "Dok nas nema" followed, and on 11 January 2023 they came together on her album 11 on Aquarius Records. It went to number one and topped the best-selling album chart twice, and she presented it at a sold-out show at the Zagreb club Peti kupe.

"Ima smisla", released in late 2023, reached number eight and was nominated for a Cesarica. On 8 March 2024 she released "Mogu i sama" with the singer Nela, which climbed to number seven and was one of the most played songs in Croatia that spring. On 26 October 2024 she played her biggest headline show yet, at Tvornica kulture in Zagreb.

Her third album, Brze suze, came out on Aquarius on 15 May 2025 and also went to number one, with "Tvoja", "Glupan" and "Dovoljna" among its singles; some of her songs feature Pocket Palma. She was a judge on Superstar in 2023 and voices animated heroines in Croatian, among them Mavka and Snow White.
