About Nesib Delibegović
Nesib Delibegović, known as Nesko, is a Bosnian singer and songwriter. Little has been published about his life and background; what is known comes from one televised evening and one album.
The evening was BH Eurosong 2003, the Bosnian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, held on 1 March 2003 in the Skenderija hall in Sarajevo. Eighteen songs competed, from acts as different as Zabranjeno pušenje, Deen and Selma Bajrami. Nesko sang sixteenth with "Madona", a song he wrote himself and performed in Bosnian, and finished 14th with 52 points; the selection was won by Mija Martina with "Ne brini".
"Madona" reappeared on his album Šaka života, released by Hayat Production in 2007. The album is a collection of love songs, several of them named after women ("Ajla", "Azra", "Halima"), and many about the darker side of love: "Besane noći", "Izdaja", "Oprosti mi", "Nek' me nema", "Nema lijeka" and "Tebi za ljubav nesrećo". Beside them stand the title song, "Koraci", "Stani malo", "Pošteni igrač", "I na istok i na zapad" and "Pijanom je uvijek proljeće".
In 2008 five of these songs appeared on a YouTube channel under his name, with "Ajla" and "Azra" the most watched. The playlist here holds the whole album.
