Mortal Kombat

Mortal Kombat is a Serbian band from Belgrade, usually placed between heavy metal and punk rock. The members describe their songs as built on a hard sound and provocative lyrics, with which they satirise modern society and the world around them.

The band's founding members from 2009 were singer and rhythm guitarist Miloš "Kriki" Kričković, guitarist Marko "Laza" Lazović and drummer Nenad "Stole" Stošić. Bassist Miloš "Gera" Georgijević joined in 2011, drummer Stefan "Džela" Dželetović in 2014, and guitarists Srđan "Ranis" Ranisavljević and Filip "Fića" Damjanović in 2016.

Their debut album, Smrtonosna šorka, came out in 2011, with songs such as "Teški metal", "Nemoj biti emo", "Evrovizija" and "Veliki brat". It was followed by Runda 2, udri! (2013), Besprekorna pobeda (2016), Decenija (2019) and Bludni sin (2023). Every year around the Eurovision Song Contest the band plays its own Antievrovizijski koncert in Belgrade, and the fourth one was released on video in 2013.
