KIKIFLY

KIKIFLY is a Slovenian glam pop singer, songwriter and producer, born Kristijan Crnica on 14 January 1990 in Maribor, which is why he is on Muzika-Balkan under Slovenia. He sings in Slovenian, Croatian and English. He works in Ljubljana, where he has taught music at the Lila primary school for more than ten years; where exactly he lives is not stated. His stage name joins his nickname Kiki and the English word dragonfly, which he has tattooed on his chest.

He went to the secondary school of design in Maribor and learned from musicians such as Žare Pak, Martin Jošt and the singers Dada Kladnik and Maja Keuc. While still at school he played in the show Showtime, which also came to Cankarjev dom, and he later worked as a licensed street musician in London. He has sung at Lent, the Kavč festival and Bob leta, and in Croatia, Austria and Italy.

In December 2022 he became the first Slovenian to reach the final of Croatia's Supertalent, where the judges praised his "Unchained Melody". His own songs "Ta dan" (2022), "Neka nada", "Dvigamo se višje" and "Bela" (2023) were produced with Žare Pak, followed by "Na vseh poteh" (2024), "Ti poznaš me" and "Proti soncu" (2026) and "Spomin poletnih dni" with Maja Prašnikar (2026). He has worked with Tinkara Kovač, Alenka Godec, Omar Naber and Žan Serčič, among others.

With his pupils he has written more than 50 children's songs. A selection became the album Igra življenja (2024), recorded with a symphony orchestra, and on 16 May 2024 he presented it at a sold-out concert in Cankarjev dom with Alenka Godec, Tinkara Kovač and other guests.
