KAILINA

KAILINA is the stage name of Lina Kuduzović, a Slovenian singer born on 30 December 2002 in Ljubljana. She is on Muzika-Balkan because she was born and started her career in Slovenia. In 2013 her family moved to Egerkingen in Switzerland, and she lives in Switzerland with her family. Her childhood songs are in Slovenian; her later songs are in English.

She was seven when she won the first season of Slovenija ima talent in 2010, the youngest winner of any Got Talent show up to then. At the audition she sang "I Will Always Love You", and in the final in Hala Tivoli on 6 June 2010 she won the viewers' vote with "The Power of Love". Her first CD, Lina, came out on 10 December 2011, with her own song "Verjamem" among the covers. In 2012 she sang the Slovenian title song of the new Maya the Bee cartoon series and dubbed other cartoons.

In 2015 she reached the final five of Die grössten Schweizer Talente. The same year she represented Slovenia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Sofia with "Prva ljubezen" ("First Love") and finished third with 112 points, the first time Slovenia had come third at the contest. In 2017 she reached the final of The Voice Kids in Germany, in Mark Forster's team.

Her first single as an adult artist, "Ephemeral", came out in 2018. With "Man Like U" she was a super-finalist of EMA 2020, the Slovenian Eurovision selection, and lost to Ana Soklič by 666 votes. The playlist gathers her own songs, from "Verjamem" to "Prva ljubezen".
