About Ivo Pattiera

Ivo Pattiera is a Croatian singer of pop in the Dalmatian style, born in Šibenik in 1948. He is on Muzika-Balkan as a Šibenik-born singer whose whole career has been tied to the Dalmatian festivals; Croatian Wikipedia counts him among the most important Croatian pop singers of Dalmatian expression and praises his big voice. The sources found do not say where he lives today.

His great years came at the Split festival, where he sang from 1979, starting with "U korican stare matrikule", until the early 1990s. In the 1980s he scored hit after hit there: "Kako je u starom kraju" (1984), "Dodirni me nježnosti" (1985), "Pjesmom te ljubim" (1987), "Prođi me se", "Ćale moj" and "Rascvjetana grana". In 1990 he sang "Da mi se vratit'" with Zlatni dukati, and in 1991 "Budi vjetar za sve moje lađe".

In his home town he found success at the Festival of Dalmatian Chanson with songs such as "Novi snovi", "Još sam onaj", "Dođi na jednu ćakulu" and "Finilo je", and in the 1990s he also sang at Melodije hrvatskog Jadrana and the Arenafest in Pula. His records came out on Jugoton and later Croatia Records, from Nima Splita do Splita (1980) and Ljubavi moja (1982) through Tražim te, trebam te (1983), Suza je slana (1988), Večeras plaćam ja (1990) and Pjesmom te ljubim (1994) to Dođi na jednu ćakulu (2004) and the anthology Zlatna kolekcija (2010).

The playlist gathers Ivo Pattiera's recordings, from "Prođi me se" and "Pjesmom te ljubim" to "Šibenska balada".
