I.C.E.

I.C.E. is a Slovenian rock band that sings in Slovenian, formed in 2005 and still active, which is why it is on Muzika-Balkan under Slovenia. Its members come from Gorenjska, Primorska and Ljubljana. The band began when singer Renata Mohorič was looking for a backing band for a solo career and found four musicians with the same taste; it worked so well that they became a band and named it after Renata's nickname, adding only the dots. They play their own songs.

The first single, "Ta song je le zate", came out in 2006, and the debut album Na liniji followed in 2008 on Dallas Records, with the singles "Na liniji", "Dej zaplešiva" and "Kje si zdaj". Videos for "Živim brez navodil" (2009) and "Sanjaj" (2010) came next. In 2015 the band took part in EMA, the Slovenian Eurovision selection, with "Vse mogoče" but went out in the first round. The second album, Tu je raj, also came out on Dallas Records in 2015, the year of the singles "Cukr pop" and "Skupaj sama".

After "Tja do srca" and "V barvah smisel je" (2016) and "Lahko bi bilo lepo" (2020), the band released "Kar te dela živega" and "Nepopisan list" in 2022 and "Flow" in 2023, all on the third album, Brez napak (2023). In an interview with RTV Slovenia the band called itself a rock'n'roll band and said its sound had turned darker and its lyrics more socially critical and satirical.

Three founding members are still in the band: Renata Mohorič on vocals and the guitarists Tine Janžek and Matej Sušnik, who has also played guitar at concerts of Vlado Kreslin. Bassist Grega Robič and drummer Tilen Miklavec joined shortly before an interview the band gave in March 2023. The playlist gathers the band's official singles.
