About Fokus
Fokus was a Serbian pop-dance group that was popular in the 1990s. Discogs describes them as a pop and house duo from the former Yugoslavia of the late 1990s. The group released one album, simply titled Fokus, on CD in 1998 on the Košava label.
The album was produced and arranged by Aleksandar Perišić Romario, who also wrote its music and sang backing vocals. The lead vocals were by Anđelija, who also wrote the lyrics of "Potkrovlje" and "Oh, Bože", and Dalibor Jovanović sang as a guest on two tracks. Vlada Simić contributed lyrics, rap and backing vocals, and Oliver Stojiljković wrote the music of "Još uvek sanjam". Eight of the ten songs were recorded at Studio Dirty Doggs and two at Studio Sky.
The opening song, "Samo jednom nije dovoljno", became the best-known Fokus song. The record also included "Još uvek sanjam", "Sibirski led", "Nikada u mislima", "Nisam trebala to", "Ljubomoran tip", "Svemu je kraj" and "Za mene noćas budi tu".
"Samo jednom nije dovoljno" lived on in compilations: Košava put it on Dance hitovi 2000, and it reappeared on 1990s retrospectives such as City Records' Top Mix Devedesete Vol. 02 in 2019. Discogs also credits Fokus with "Reci mi da je to ljubav" on Radijski festival 07 and "Bela jedra" on Radijski festival 08.
