About Dženan Lončarević

Dženan Lončarević is a Serbian pop singer, born on 10 April 1975 in Prijepolje, who also plays guitar and keyboards. As a child he appeared on the children's TV show Muzički tobogan. He finished primary school in Prijepolje, and a music teacher who recognised his talent helped him enrol in a secondary school in Sarajevo. He has been performing since 2000, and for years he sang around his home town.

He competed three times at the Pjesma Mediterana festival in Budva: with "Ti amo Anđela" in 2004, when he won a "Mediterranean sound" award, with "Nije mi stalo" in 2005 and with "Znam" in 2006. That year he moved to Belgrade, and in 2007 City Records released his debut album, Nikome ni reč, with fourteen songs; the same year he sang "Da si tu" at the Radio Festival of Serbia.

His second album, Dobro je to, came out on 25 May 2009, followed by Zdravo dušo (2011), No 4 (April 2013) and Dva su koraka (25 November 2015), seventeen songs with a DVD of music videos. Among his singles are "Laura", "Starim sam", "Ana ne budi luda", "Kap u moru", "Otkad nema nas", which he sang at the Radio Festival in 2013, and "Ovo je moj grad", from Pink Music Fest 2014. He has recorded duets with Aca Pejović ("Uspomene"), Indira Radić ("Ima tuga, ime, ulicu i broj") and Emina Jahović ("Beograd priča").

In 2019 Dženan Lončarević released "Ne vraća se ljubav nikad" with Bane Opačić, who wrote its music and words, and on 4 March 2019 he finished second at Beovizija, the Serbian selection for Eurovision, with "Nema suza". In 2024 he sang at the Split festival, where "Bez tebe vrime ovo stalo je" won third prize from the professional jury.
