About Džejla Ramović

Džejla Ramović is a pop singer from Goražde, born on 29 April 2002, who sings and plays the piano. She started in 2014 by recording cover songs, among them Adele's "Hello", and at twelve she applied for Zvezde Granda, the big talent show of Grand Production. She got as far as the fifth round, where the jury let her go because of her age.

In June 2016 she won the first season of the children's talent show Neki novi klinci, where the judges praised her "melodic and sensitive" voice. The prize was the recording of two songs, which came out in 2017, starting with her debut single "Ruža", written by Bane Opačić and arranged by Alek Aleksov. "Potraži me" and "Jedna kao nijedna" followed.

She went back to Zvezde Granda for its thirteenth season in 2018-19, chose Marija Šerifović as her mentor and won the final with 1,017 points, 334 from the jury and 683 from the viewers' text votes. The prize was a song and a video from Grand Production, which has been her label since. Her 2019 single "Ruine", with lyrics by Marina Tucaković, came close to 20 million views on YouTube. In 2020 she received the Oskar popularnosti in Banja Luka as the discovery of the year in pop music, and for a Radio S project of ex-Yu songs she recorded her version of Magazin's "Ginem".

After a three-year break she came back in 2022 with "Sparta", followed by "Kazamat" in 2023. Two duets with the rapper Henny reached Billboard's Croatia Songs chart: "Rizik" (2023) went to number 3 and "Tajna veza" (2024) to number 19. "Zime" with Albino and "Bol" came out in 2025 and "1004" in 2026, and on her channel she has also sung "Mrvica" with Kaliopi. Alongside her music she moved to Barcelona to study economics.
