Boris Režak

Boris Režak is a pop singer-songwriter from Bosnia and Herzegovina, born on 6 April 1976 in Banja Luka. He comes from a musical family, plays several instruments and writes his own songs, mostly about love. He later settled in Belgrade, and today he plays to audiences across the region.

He first stepped onto the big stage in the Bosnian selections for the Eurovision Song Contest. At BH Eurosong 2001 he sang "Ja vjerujem" and finished fifth. A year later he returned with "Ti i ja smo mogli sve", recorded with Karney: the song came second in the first round, then fourth in the superfinal.

The song he regards as the real start of his career is "Anđeo", which he took to the Croatian Radio Festival in 2004. His first album, Nakon toliko godina, came out in 2003, and its title song became one of his best-loved ballads; "Pokora" and "Isti se pronalaze" belong to the same years. A second album, Korak dalje, followed in 2008. At the Bosnian Radio Festival in 2007, "Još si tu" won four awards, the Grand Prix among them.

Hits such as "Voli me", "Tako lako", "Ti si moja", "Život ide", "Anđeo na ramenu" and "Ožiljak" kept him on the radio in the following years. In 2018 he competed in Beovizija, the Serbian Eurovision selection, with "Vila", which he composed and co-wrote. He is also the singing voice of the Beast in the Serbian version of Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

In 2020 he released "Od ponoći do ponoći" with Halid Bešlić, a close friend. In November 2024 he gave his first big solo concerts in Belgrade, two nights at the MTS Dvorana called Nakon toliko godina. Bešlić joined him for their duet and Nevena Božović sang "Laž" with him; the set closed with "Anđeo". In April 2025 he filled the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad on his birthday, and on 14 October 2025 he played the Sava Centar in Belgrade on his Isti se pronalaze tour, where he premiered "Poruka za nju".
