Bolesna štenad

Bolesna štenad ("Sick Puppies") is a punk band from Belgrade, formed in 2010 by singer Aleksandar Marković Lama, who invited guitarist Zoran Mladenović to join him. The first line-up was completed by Jovana Radojević on bass and Sanja Tišma on drums.

From the start the band was known for sharp, satirical lyrics, fast riffs and wild, entertaining shows, often in costume, and its concerts have become a regular part of the biggest festivals and venues in the region: Exit, Beer Fest in Belgrade, Arsenal Fest, the Zaječar Gitarijada, Demofest in Banja Luka, BOŠ in Gevgelija, Kulpin Fest, Osveženje in Pirot, the Serbian Punk Weekend in Sofia, Lake Fest and Bedem Fest in Montenegro, Silvershine in Srebrenica and Fabula Fest in Lazarevac.

Their first album, Loše, loše (2011), was recorded in the Underground and Srbijašumeks studios, and the same year it was named the best album by both the audience and the critics of the RTV programme Gruvanje. Its songs "Himna", "Infostan", "Vikend" and "Letnji hit" became something of generational anthems, a document of the time in which they were made. In 2013 the band won first prize in the competition of the Dan D festival, held in memory of Milan Delčić Delča.

The second album, Desiće se lepe stvari, came out at the end of February 2015 on RockSvirke Records. Once again the band described the reality around them with wit, whether the subject was the Serbian rock scene or the state of the country, and "Multietnička atrakcija", "Komšinice" and "Život je lep" became cult songs. The third album, Gde su te manekenke, gde je taj kokain, followed in 2019 on Mascom Records, produced and recorded by Nikola Vranjković of Block Out, who also played guitar parts and helped arrange the songs.

Today the band is Lama on vocals, Zoran Mladenović Kiza and Marko Šolić Šulc on guitars, Marko Jablanov Džeb on bass and Andrej Ivanov on drums. Their newer songs include "Pariz", "Ljubi te brat" with Petar Punk, "Krvarim na nos" with Ajs Nigrutin and, in 2026, "NV", and in 2025 they marked fifteen years of the band.
