Ansambel Poskočni muzikanti

Ansambel Poskočni muzikanti is a Slovenian narodnozabavna band founded in 2010, playing both folk-pop polkas and waltzes and lighter pop songs. They are best known as the house band of the television show Slovenski pozdrav, and their popularity has often been compared with that of Modrijani.

The first line-up had Nejc Tratnjek on trumpet, Domen Lesjak on clarinet, Tomaž Dobnik on accordion, Jože Kotnik on guitar and Lovro Sadek on baritone and bass. Singer Martin Juhart joined in 2011, and when Dobnik left a year later Juhart took over the accordion too; Lesjak was replaced by Dejan Krajnc, and later line-up changes brought in Dejan Golob, Dominik Kontrec and Dejan Korenak.

Festival success came quickly. In 2011, a year after they started, they won the second prize of the expert jury in Cerkvenjak, and in 2012 they were named the best quintet in Števerjan and won the audience vote and the golden shepherd at Graška Gora. 2013 was their best festival year: overall winners in Števerjan and at Graška Gora, the award for the best quintet at the Ptuj festival and the Oberkrainer award for the most promising quintet in Europe. Since 2012 they have held a concert every November in the sports hall in Slovenska Bistrica.

Their albums are Pogledam te (2012), Adijo madam (2014) and Pokvarjeni fantje (2016). "Adijo madam" became their signature song and was recorded again as a rock version in 2016. The video for "Lubi", written by Matjaž Vlašič with lyrics by Blaž Švab, was shot in 2015 on Tenerife and Gran Canaria before the song was even finished. In 2016 they joined Jan Plestenjak, Zdenko Cotič - Coto and Modrijani on "Kok nam je luštn" and released an English song, "You Are the Star". Other favourites include "Čao, adijo", "Naj me tvoja koža boža" and "J's ne morem vode pit'".

They have also recorded with Omar Naber ("On My Way"), with Oto Pestner ("Valček za mojo drago") and live with Alfi Nipič.
