About Zrinka

Zrinka, full name Zrinka Milić, is a Croatian singer, one of the festival stars of the 1990s, remembered for her voice and for "Srce od zlata". Early on many people called her the new Doris Dragović. She followed Maja Blagdan as the singer of Stijene, and the composer Zdenko Runjić wrote songs for her.

It was Runjić's "Srce od zlata" that made her a star almost overnight, first at the Melodije hrvatskog Jadrana festival and then at Dora 1995, the Croatian Eurovision selection, where it finished third with 109 points. She came back to Dora in 1996 with "Tako sam ranjiva", fourth with 106 points, and in 1998 she and Goran Karan sang "Bolero", which came second with 133 points.

The lyricist Jakša Fiamengo wrote "Duša duše" and "A dani biže" for her, and Gibonni wrote her a song as well. She has released four albums, and she sang the duet "Hvala" with Oliver Dragojević on his last album and "Ti samo ti" with Matko Jelavić.

After Runjić's death she gradually withdrew from public life to devote herself to her family; she is the mother of a daughter, Ela, and a son, Ivan. In 2025 she announced a slow return to concerts and new recordings, and on 3 May 2026 she was a special guest at Tereza Kesovija's farewell concert on Stari plac in Split.
