About z++
z++ is the stage name of Zvonimir Husnjak, a Croatian rapper and music producer born in Osijek in 1996. He started playing guitar at eight as a pupil of the Franjo Kuhač music school in Osijek. His stage name combines the first letter of his first name with the programming language C++.
At the beginning of 2018 he began working with the rappers Massimo Savage and Đi, and the three later founded the label Retfatlanta Records; early singles such as "Brojim pare", "Beli Manastir" and "Kontam da da" came out of that partnership. His debut album, 18++, followed on Retfatlanta on 13 September 2019: eleven songs for which he wrote the music and lyrics and did the mixing and mastering himself. At the end of that year he played the No Sleep festival in Belgrade, and in January 2020 at the event Drito iz Tvornice he premiered new songs, among them his collaboration with Vojko V, "Balkan".
His second album, Zauvijek, came out in December 2020 on the label yem, again written and produced entirely by him. Between 2020 and 2024 he played all the big festivals of the region, including Exit, Sea Star, Zagreb Beer Fest and Arsenal Fest, headlined in the larger cities of the region and sold out Zagreb's Dom sportova.
In 2022 he guested on Hiljson Mandela's "Još ovu noć" and recorded a Studio Šećer live session with the band Porto Morto. He also writes for others: "Trebaš li me", written with Matija Cvek and sung by Cvek and Eni Jurišić, won the Cesarica for hit of the year in 2022 and the Porin for song of the year in 2023. His own "Sedmo nebo" was the Cesarica hit of October 2023 and announced his third album, underground pop, released on 17 July 2024. At the end of 2025 he teamed up with Hiljson Mandela again on "Aurora" and then released the solo single "Telepatija".
