Tonyo San

Tonyo San, also written Tonio San and known as RNS, is a Macedonian rapper whose real name is Antonio Arangelovikj. He raps in Macedonian and has been part of the Macedonian hip-hop scene since the early 2000s.

His first solo album, Cvetot na svetot, came out in 2004. Društvoto na mrtvite poeti followed in 2010 and Sinteza na um i meč in 2012. He has also worked with the hip-hop groups Green Out and Legijata, appearing on their albums, and has contributed to several compilations. Later releases include the albums Chairskiot Album and Dete na Zimata and the three-part series Zaboravenite obidi.

Rap is only one side of his work. He is also a comics artist and published his first graphic novel, Nekoi mali nešta, in May 2019, and since 2015 he has taught at the Faculty of Design and Multimedia of FON University. In November 2020 Radio MOF announced an online discussion in which he talked about the technical side of writing a rap song.
