About Marko Vozelj

Marko Vozelj is a Slovenian pop singer, born on 25 June 1968 in Ljubljana and at home in Višnja Gora. He has been on stage since 1989, first as a long-time member of the band Čuki and since 2008 also as a solo artist.

He joined Čuki in 1989 at the invitation of Jože Potrebuješ, whom he had met during his military service.

His solo career began in 2008 with the album Moj svet, fourteen songs including "Te ni", "Zdaj moj svet", "Oblak" and "Mavrica". With "Te ni" he won Slovenska popevka 2008, taking first place and the audience's grand prize for the best song. In 2009 he received the Viktor award for the best music performer. At EMA 2010, the Slovenian selection for Eurovision, he sang "Moj si zrak" and finished sixth, and that year he also released "Brez miru", "Zvezde so z nama" and "Dan se budi", a duet with Kaliopi.

Slovenska popevka became his festival. He won it again in 2011 with "Tukaj si" and a third time in 2012 with "Naj nama sodi le nebo", a duet with Nuša Derenda, each time with first place and the audience's grand prize. In 2011 he also released "Letiva v nebo", and at Melodije morja in sonca 2013 he sang "Nora noč je pred nama" and finished seventh.

Since 2014 he has performed as Marko Vozelj & Mojs3, with Matjaž Vlašič, Samo Jezovšek, Maj Vlašič, Marko Lednik and Štefan Šarkezi. Their songs include "Ribica" and "Ljubim samo tebe" from 2014 and "Trta mojih dni" from 2021. His music videos are gathered here in one playlist.
