Maja Šuput is a Croatian pop singer, actress, television host and businesswoman, born on 22 September 1979 in Zagreb as the only child of Danica and Boris Šuput. She began her career in 1998 in the group Enjoy, and in 2002 she left it to go solo.
She tried four times to represent Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest through Dora: in 1999 and 2000 with the group Joy, with "Uzalud" (17th) and "Baby" (13th), in 2003 as Maja Šuput & Enjoy with "Čista petica" (6th), and in 2008 solo with "Lako zaljubljiva" (5th). Along the way she recorded "Dvije lude" with Mate Bulić.
In the 2010s "Svatovska" and "Djevojačko veče" became party anthems at Croatian weddings, the video for the latter passing seven million views, and the media began calling her "the queen of weddings". In September 2015 she released "Lopove", which had passed 31 million views on YouTube by 2025 and is the biggest hit of her career. Later videos include "Ne lomi mi srce", "Kamikaza", "Ilegalno", "Dođi mami" and "Nisam ja za male stvari".
Maja Šuput is also a familiar face on Nova TV: since 2017 she has been a judge on Supertalent, alongside Davor Bilman, Fabijan Pavao Medvešek and Martina Tomčić, in 2020 and 2021 she co-hosted Tvoje lice zvuči poznato, where she had competed in 2015, and in 2022 she hosted the second season of Ples sa zvijezdama, a show she had danced in in 2006.
