Macha Ravel

Macha Ravel is a Croatian singer, songwriter and producer of alt-pop, synth-pop and R&B who sings in both Croatian and French. She was born in Zagreb, spent her childhood in France, moved to Sarajevo to study and returned to live in Zagreb in 2025. French is, as she puts it, her second mother tongue beside Croatian, and she wants her music to know no borders.

She began writing at 22, when she started rapping, and first performed as the rapper Muha, with a first EP partly in French and English. Under her new name she turned to pop, with a style she describes as mixing and experimenting. In March 2025 she released "Ako smo isti", and in June 2025 "Lutkica", a song about a doll set free from an attic, which came out as an EP in three versions: Croatian-French, French and Croatian. She called it her most important and most liberating project, the first she stands behind as a producer as well as composer and lyricist; it was made with the producers Endži Dolores, one of her closest collaborators, and A.N.D.R. "Lutkica" went viral on TikTok and gave its name to the Lutkica tour of 2025, with club shows in Zagreb, Novi Sad, Sarajevo and Mostar.

Later came "Pasegoni" and further videos such as "Ne voli me", "Poseidon" and "Traume". In 2026 she was named on Impala's list of 100 artists to watch, and after an earlier set as Muha on a small stage she played the main stage of the Sea Star Festival in Umag with her dance group. Besides music she has finished medical studies, and she is working on her next album.
