About Lu Dedić
Lu Dedić is a young Croatian pop singer from one of the country's best-known musical families. She is the only daughter of jazz pianist and composer Matija Dedić and Marina Scotti, and the granddaughter of Arsen Dedić and Gabi Novak.
She first stepped out in public with her father. Their duet "Zadnji sati ljeta" came out with an official lyric video on Croatia Records in November 2021, and they first performed it together at ZKM in Zagreb; the song was later included on Matija Dedić's album Ladies.
Her own pop singles followed, among them "Prava stvar" and "Mijenjam se", written by Silvio Pasarić, which both made radio playlists. In February 2024 she made her first competitive appearance at Dora, the Croatian Eurovision selection, with "Plavi leptir", written by Miroslav Lesić, who had suggested she enter; she opened the second semi-final. In September 2024 she released her fifth single, "Iluzija", with music, lyrics, arrangement and production by Silvio Pasarić.
In April 2025 came "Pronađi me", her first song with the writers Maraya and Senij, of which she said she was very proud. She has kept performing regularly with her father, and in May 2025 the two appeared at the Ladies Live concert at Kino SC in Zagreb alongside Josipa Lisac, Mia Dimšić and Tina Vukov. Matija Dedić died in June 2025.
