Ibro Bublin

Ibro Bublin is a folk singer from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, who sings both modern pop-folk and sevdalinka, the old love songs of Bosnia. He became known across the region as a teenager, when he won the tenth, jubilee season of the Grand Production talent show Zvezde Granda. For his love of sevdalinka the Serbian daily Kurir wrote that he was called the successor of Safet Isović.

The papers called him "mali Ibro", little Ibro: he was 16 during the rounds and 17 when he won. The superfinal was held on 15 July 2016 in the Zetra hall in Sarajevo, the biggest hall in Bosnia. He sang "Kaži majci šta te boli dušo", "Pruži ruku pomirenja" and "Sarajevo grade moj", won the most audience votes and received the golden statuette from Marija Šerifović, while Lepa Brena handed him the keys to the car he won. The prize also brought him a guest spot at Željko Joksimović's concert at the Koševo stadium. In the same superfinal Ermin Redžić Bubi finished third. Right after the win Ibro told the press that school still came first.

His first recordings came out on Grand Production: "Bolujem ti od sevdaha" on the Zvezde Granda 2016 album, "Luče" in January 2018, then "Emina" and "Sve ću dati", a song he composed himself to words by Dervo Bublin, which has come close to a million plays on YouTube. Petar Stokanović wrote "Selica" (2019), "Imala si oči za mene" (2019) and "Gorimo" (2020) for him.

Since 2022 he has released his music himself: "Šejtan djevojče", "Dva drugara" and, in October 2024, the album Moja diko with "Fascinantna", "Odaju me", "Moja diko" and "Čini mi se da si nešto reći htjela". In 2026 came "Jednostavno", whose video passed four million views, and "Kralj u blatu", both written by Marko Đurašević Mahoni and Rastko Savić. He also keeps the old songs alive on stage, from the sevdalinke "Sve behara" and "Šeher grade Banjaluko mila" to Šaban Šaulić's "Lepi dani mog detinjstva".
