Banditi

Banditi are a punk rock band from Idrija in western Slovenia, where they are based; that is why they are on Muzika-Balkan. They sing in English and in Slovenian. The band was started by guitarist BB and bassist Hanson to play other bands' hits, and its members count 15 August 2005 as the day it began, with Matt on vocals and BoNe on drums.

Their first single, "Nick O'Teen", came out in 2006 with a video made together with RTV Slovenija. Hanson also played bass in the Idrija punk band Zablujena generacija, and when the two bands' concerts began to clash he left; Red took over the bass in 2007, and Mr. AJ joined on lead guitar at the end of that year. The second single, "Rad bi le", followed in 2009.

Their debut album, Society Love Songs, was released by Multirecords on 25 March 2010, recorded and mixed under Igor Seljak and mastered by Kemble Walters in Los Angeles. Drummers changed twice, from BoNe to Fly and then to Bunny. "New Tomorrow" was recorded at Studio Ork in Jevnica with Sašo Kisovec and Damjan Pančur producing, and in November 2013 the band played a short tour of Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

After trouble with labels, their second album, Take the Streets, came out on Nika Records on 20 February 2014 and was presented at the Orto bar in Ljubljana, with videos for "Walk Away", "Money" and "Shout". After a break in 2016 they released a cover of "Ruski vohun" by the punk band Niet in January 2017, recorded with Niet's Borut Marolt and Robert Likar.

"Popoln trenutek" followed in November 2018 and "Men je kull", with words and arrangement by Dare Kaurič, in February 2020. On their own SoundCloud profile the band name "Nick O'Teen", "Rad bi le", "New Tomorrow" and "Walk Away" as their best-known singles. The playlist is the band's own collection of its videos.
